About me

Hi, my name is Justyna.
I’m a visual artist, creative facilitator and change agent.

My journey toward art has been exciting, yet it followed an unconventional path.

For over 15 years, I worked as an academic teacher, researcher, and creative consultant, primarily applying design methods to business. With a master’s degree in marketing and a PhD in design management, I began my career in business, which gradually led me to design and, ultimately, to the discovery of art.

This journey has given me a unique profile, enabling me to approach art with a blend of strategic insight, business orientation, and interdisciplinary thinking.

My art

In my artistic practice, I primarily use acrylics and soft pastels but frequently explore mixed media to create unique textures and visual expressions. My themes revolve around abstract landscapes, as well as human faces and bodies, while trying to capture emotions and movement. You can explore a current collection I am working on. Art and TECH

In January 2024, I joined the IT University of Copenhagen as a project manager and researcher in XTREME project, an EU-funded project focused on mixed reality solutions for art and culture. Collaborating with 14 diverse partners, we are exploring innovative alternatives to traditional music and art experiences. My work centers on the intersection of art and technology, with a particular interest in XR (extended reality). You can check out XTREME project here.
